Using legacy 3-wire technology, these wired safety beams offer the same functional safety and security of our latest technology with the more traditional 3-wire setup.

How does it work?

At Automatic Technology, we strongly advise the installation of safety beams, especially if you have children or pets. Safety Beams provide a crucial layer of protection by preventing your garage door from closing when the infrared beam is interrupted or blocked. This ensures the safety of you, your family, your friends, and your valuable belongings, keeping them out of harm's reach.

The infrared sensors are strategically positioned on both sides of your garage door, just a few inches above the ground. As the door begins to close, the sensors are instantly activated. If a sensor detects an object in the path of the closing door, whether it's a child, a pet, or a vehicle, it triggers an immediate halt and reverses the door's movement.

One notable advantage of Automatic Technology's Safety Beams is the wireless design, setting them apart from other options available in the market. This eliminates the need for complex electrical wiring and eliminates the risks associated with damaged wires. With our wireless safety beams, you can enjoy peace of mind, knowing that your garage door is equipped with a reliable and convenient safety feature.
